（本台讯）美国时间8月5日，香港卫视集团董事局主席、行政总裁高洪星博士一行，应美中商业文化协会会长张铁军邀请，参加2014美中跨太平洋投资论坛暨香港卫视旧金山记者站建站仪式。
高洪星主席在美中投资论坛会上作了主题演讲。高主席介绍了香港卫视的最新发展情况，阐释了“中国元素，国际表达”的鲜明特色和“积极、善意、温暖”的新人文精神，以及在港澳台和海外落地的良好情况；同时介绍了香港卫视在文化创意产业、特别是在新媒体产业方面的发展规划。
随后，高洪星主席与美国加州州长代表及硅谷市长，为香港卫视美国旧金山记者站开站仪式剪彩。
在为期三天的美中文化项目考察中，香港卫视集团与本次会议主办方美中文化商业协会进行了友好洽谈，达成了多项合作意向。
